Rice and a visit to the preserves museum
A route to tantalize the senses, filled with all manner of curiosities and facts from the world surrounding rice cultivation and preserves.
You will discover what distinguishes Pals’ unique scenic rice paddies from others. One of the most interesting stops is el Molì de Pals, one of Europe’s oldest functional mills.
In the preserves museum the visitor will be able to see the installations and will be given a demonstration showing the different procedures of making jam. Each group will participate in the final process of a particular preserve by bottling and labelling it. The visitor will be able to take this particular pot of jam home as a gift. Finally the group will be presented with samples of different preserves followed by a glass of cava.
Duration: Tren de l’arròs, approximately 1h and 30 minutes | Visiting the museum approximately 1h and 30 minutes.
